Dog-Friendly Cottage Rentals Near Killarney and the French River

Yes, dogs are welcome at all three Hartley Bay Cottages. There is a flat pet fee of $50 per stay (waived for service dogs), and we have no limit on the number, size or breed of dogs. Please mention your dog when you book.

House rules for dogs:
- Keep dogs off the furniture and beds (bring covers if you cannot).
- Clean up after your dog and supervise them.
- Do not leave dogs alone in the cottage unless they are crated.
- Dogs stay on a leash unless your group has rented all three cottages.

Why it works for dogs: each cottage has its own private shoreline and dock, a fire pit and a yard, on a quiet lake with very little boat traffic. The docks are not fenced and the water off the docks is deep, so keep an eye on swimmers of all species.

Dog-friendly things to do nearby:
- Recollet Falls Trail in French River Provincial Park (about 3 km out and back).
- The Crack and other hikes at Killarney Provincial Park (Ontario Parks rules apply on park trails, so check them before you go).
- Swimming and paddling right from the cottage.
